Niagara College Toronto is an amazing place with awesome people. My admission process was smooth! I had a student advisor that followed up with me every other day till the process was completed. The school is very supportive in terms of accommodation and grooming you for life after school (career). Top notch professors too!
Hey, so I started my journey at TFS when the whole world shut down. So naturally my class were the pioneers of the Acting program online. Of course we were bummed out by the situation but anyone of us could have left the program at anytime, but we didn't. My overall experience over the last two years we're mostly great. The teachers were fantastic and really drove us to become greta actors (so long as you did the work and applied yourself). Admittedly, it took me a while to see the grand picture of everything but once I did, it made sense and everything fell into place for me. I could never thank the teachers/mentors who made this experience worth while and really forced me to grow. Rosanna Saracino, John Tench, Chad Snider, Andrew Moodie to name a few were just fantastic, and honestly kept me invested in this school after I wanted to quit. I also loved the fact that we got a taste of all aspects of the industry, from auditioning class to actually auditioning for student films, to writing, to pitching, everything was just so hands on, even through zoom. I do, wish we could've gotten more moneys worth, especially being on zoom majority of the diploma. One more thing to had is that this school feels like family, the instructors are so supportive (even if they don't know you, they know you and support you!). Overall, great experience!

Hanging with the wrong crowd and not always putting my craft first. Big mistake.... as reputation is everything. Thankfully I proved I am a professional working actor and producer of television post TFS. There's the context. What about the school experience?I learned essential acting tricks and lessons from very influential instructors. Whether that was in class or watching them perform in their theater plays or film projects. Each instructor taught me something valuable about the craft of acting and filmmaking... putting yourself out there and asking for feedback will strengthen you. The instructors are all working professionals, and have the resumes to back it up. (Search them on imdb and you may be surprised!) Some instructors are now my co workers... so ya... that's possible.You will get lots of theater experience (You get to perform in a class play!) and on camera experience that can help towards a demo reel. Voice over work is a great experience, along with producing/writing your own short film (if greenlit by jury, which highlights how competitive and unforgiving the business can be...)Business class was also important to understand the essentials to getting an agent.Overall you get what you put into the program, I didn't even mention after school hours.... you should be networking and getting to know other students in different programs. Audition for student films and build that reel while all the tools are available.Make TFS a positive experience... especially if you are serious about working in the biz. Everyone will have a different experience... so make sure you join for you and the right reasons.
Trebas Institute offers engaging hands on experience for students that few other schools provide. Success in the industry is a real possibility, but it is up to the student to decide how hard they are willing to work to achieve their creative goals.
A workshop about how to create resume and cover letter by Jennifer and Monica helps me a lot. They give us all very useful information which exactly I really wanted to know. Also they are passionate to help us. I am really happy to have such an great opportunity and appreciate it.
The Event and Venue Management program at Trebas can be challenging but is totally worth it! It will teach you all aspects of this industry, the dos and don'ts. You will get hands-on experience which is critical to being successful in this field. You will come out of this course with knowledge that many working don't have. I found the EVM course was vital to my success as an Event Coordinator and would recommend it to others any day of the week.My career boomed after I started my internship at Palais Royal. After 1 month I was hired full time, I worked there for a year, gained tons of experience, I am so thankful to have been able to work with what I would say one of the best teams in the city. From there I moved on to work at Liberty Grand, one of the biggest companies in Toronto. I learned so much more there and worked for a few years before moving on to now starting up my own Event company Angel Events.If your passionate about events you won't be sorry.
I was so happy to find Trebas. I was looking for a career change and in 10 short months, I was able to transform my life completely. With a current, comprehensive curriculum based in the real world and instructors who are still active in the industry, the Event Management program gave me the knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in the non-profit sector with new skills and a fresh outlook. Now, almost five years later, I am still very satisfied with my choice and am loving my career.
I came to Trebas because I believe that music is one of the most powerful things the world has to offer. It has the power to unite us. One thing I remember from the start of every term is that every time I walked into the class there were new students from different countries and different cultures.Trebas really taught me that the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people. It was an honor to attend class every day with every single classmate. Classmates that became friends.
The program is offered in English and French and covers everything you need to know from budgeting and planning to design and marketing. Good professors and lots of job opportunity awaited my class when we graduated. Six months after graduating, I didn't know of anyone who didn't have a related job. Best of all the community is strong and it's a very fun and social atmosphere with a lot of energy to keep you motivated.
Every class starts with examples of real world working environment and explanations about how it works. The school provides the best service by being super attentive and care about students success and understanding of the skills required to succeed in the career.
I had a great experience. I liked the instructors and the quality of the curriculum. The exercises were not easy and one needed to be good with basics to solve them.I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about Data Science and ready to devote time and effort needed to succeed. I had the pleasure to share this experience with professionals from different industries, several were not related to science, math, or physics. The age range was surprisingly wide, from 50 to 20's approximately and the cultural background was also very diverse. The instructors were able to explain thoroughly and promptly in way that made no one uncomfortable. They would take extra time, offline, with the slower pace students and would offer to answer extra questions asynchronously to achieve every objective of each class. Eventually everything would be crystal clear. They also offer the service of a TA that would go the extra mile to help you and answer questions, not only related to the program, but also the career paths, job search and many other topics. After the end of the course they also offer a few sessions to go over your curriculum and assign you a mentor to give you support during your job search and the very beginning of your new career. They become your partners and mentors for as long as you want them in your new professional journey.
This was a career changing experience for me. I learned the technical skills, modelling, tools and more that are used everyday in industry so I hit the ground running when I graduated. I used what I learned to leap frog two positions at the bank I work for into a senior financial analyst role where I can run much more complex analyses. My most important advice is, take your courses, assignments and lecturers seriously. Take advantage of the amazing networking opportunities, with instructors, employers and guest lecturers. I can't say enough about the diverse professional community BrainStation has built. They are locked into top employer networks, understand the most important skills, and will help you achieve your goals in a short time period.
This course was exactly what I needed to go from "the guy who manages the website" to "our company's PM." Instructors were amazing and the so was the curriculum. I was able to do work projects while studying and get help that translated into wins at my office. I left the course more sure than ever than I want a career in product management.

Definitely one of the best data analyst program, providing a lot of hands on projects regards to different industries, has a variety topics, in-depth sql and python exercises leads to the success of the interviews! Recommend if you navigate internet this area!
This was just a brilliant course for a manager like me who needed to understand cyber security and how to manage all the people -- more people than I thought -- who can affect an organization's security. I wouldn't recommend this course for anyone who wants to jump into a cyber career because that isn't how it's designed, unlike many of BrainStation's other courses. First-rate instructors and chalk full of perfect real life examples. I can't recommend BrainStation enough.
Trebas was a fulfilling experience for me. I found it extremely valuable to have tools at my disposal such as digital audio workstations, studio equipment and lab rooms. Their wide variety of courses and instructors offer a versatile educational experience for all types of learners. Whether it's the work I'm doing with mixing music or working in the audio-visual industry, I find myself utilizing a lot of the concepts I've learned from their classes.
I graduated in 2014, from the TV and Film Production program. After Trebas an opportunity came up to work as a runner for a VFX company, located here, in Montreal.A few months after I was promoted to Production Assistant which would be my first job on a big Hollywood movie.Following this project I was once again promoted to Coordinator and then a few years later to Production Manager, which is the position I currently hold.I feel like Trebas gave me the discipline and drive to achieve my Dreams.
Having completed the Film & Television Production program at Trebas in 2013, the first couple years of my career were spent working in various film roles on production sets for tv shows, short films and music videos before making the venture into post-production. I now work in the VFX industry as a Pipeline Technical Director at Outpost VFX.I wholeheartedly owe my postproduction career to the amazing Career Services department who helped springboard my career after graduating. They took the time to put together job seminars and coach new graduates in navigating the open job market. Furthermore, if it wasn’t for that team my career to date wouldn’t be as illustrious as it is; I have worked for 3 great companies, been promoted numerous times and have had the opportunity to travel abroad while working on great projects.Moreover, my experience at Trebas was nothing short of amazing. It was a complete eye opener to the world of Film & Television production where building a network with your colleagues is a treasure in itself and I was blessed to have amazing teachers whom I have maintained relationships with and who I will always respect. Thank you for the invaluable lessons you’ve taught me. This course is a must for any inspiring young filmmaker.
Trebas is awesome! I graduated from it back in 2015 under the Sound Design Program. I met some amazing people that were just as intrigued as I was to learn. The amazing help that the faculty has given post-graduation is commendable, they actively seek out work for their Alumni which is something I can only appreciate more as the years go by.In the past I performed in La Voix 2017 and made it to the semifinals. I even toured with the famous Quebec musician “Marc Dupre†that same summer. Today I go under the moniker “Brandon Mig†as I compose and perform music in Quebec. My songs have hit the top 10 on Quebec Radio, as well as roughly 2Million streams on Spotify. My debut single “Best I’ll Never Have†won the SOCAN “Most Popular Song†Award for 2019. The knowledge from my program allowed me to communicate exactly what I wanted when interacting with producers, as well as give me the building blocks for my own demos, and Vocal production work that I do on the side.Trebas is a great school as well as a great compendium of wisdom that helps you even after you graduate. They will always be there for you.
Because of this program, I improved my skills and entered the Canadian job market through Co-op. I am very pleased with the quality of service provided by this school and its staff and would recommend the Toronto School of Management to others who wish to pursue their goals in Canada.
I studied in Pandemic time, so everything was online and never got the chance to met my fellows, although the attention from the staff and student services was really good. they did a lot of webinars explaining how to create your resume, how to apply for a job and tips for the time of interview. The teachers were really professional and everything was good in general.
I had almost 5 years of experience in Telecom and I have a Masters degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Always admired Data related jobs but I knew nothing about SQL, Python or Machine learning. Today, I can gladly say that I have been successful in achieving what I aspired. I am working as a Revenue Assurance Analyst at Rogers now, and if I had not taken this course; learned SQL, Python, Tableau and machine learning (which was definitely required for this role), I would have never been able to get it. Everyone put in such a genuine effort towards my goal, words won’t do justice in expressing my gratitude to each and everyone at WeCloud. All the Instructors and TA’s- Shaohua, Vinny, Shan, Sonia, Ernesto and Tianshu were amazing; extremely patient, and they were always available. One thing I really loved being a student at WeCloudData is to witness the passion and the vision that Shaohua (the Co-Founder) has for WeCloud and it’s students. It’s important to understand why he felt necessary to start such an institution focused not just on delivering education or upgrading skills but to design the whole process in a way that assures securing a job at the very end, which even best of the universities and colleges at times fail to do. I have not met a person as hard-working as him. My life has completely changed now, not only on the professional front but also on the personal end; making a good living plays a very crucial role in your life, the sense of security, comfortable living, financial independence are all very important but even more crucial is the feeling of fulfillment and contentment in what you do, and I feel it now.
My experience at TSOM is great from the onboarding process, professors and career services center this school wants to to succeed and achieve your goals in your career path! I highly recommend anyone who is looking to start a career to give TSOM a chance as you wont be disappointed!
I enjoyed my time here and I got a job in the television industry after graduating. I enrolled at Trebas after doing a history degree at the University of Toronto - my diploma has opened more doors for me than my bachelors.Okay, but a couple of caveats. I hustled and put everything I had into my classes. Can't say the same about everyone. Some people here slacked off and then complained about the "tough" job market when graduation time came around. Like anything else, you've got to put in the effort and you get out what you put in.Class sizes were small, maybe 4-8, so you get lots of time on the equipment. That was key.The instructors are really good and I still talk to some of them to this day, but turnover was a real issue. Something like 10% of faculty changed over while I was there. It didn't affect me, but I think it bothered others.I can't speak to other programs but Film & TV was a really welcome change after four years of university. The program is short and jam-packed. It helped me get where I am today, so Trebas deserves recognition for that.
This program pretty much has it all, from instructors who will spend time with you on pronunciation, reading and writing, to free software like Rosetta Stone and online libraries with more resources than you can possibly use during your studies. The balance of online learning with virtual classes you can pop in and out of makes this the best French course I've taken, and I've tried a lot of different things over the past 10 years. You get the classmates and live instruction to keep you motivated with all of the online tools you'd get with an app.
BrainStation is the future of education and an excellent alternative to traditional college programs. I didn't need to wait until a whole new semester to start learning, they had diplomas starting all the time, online with live instruction with loads of valuable online resources.The instructors are second-to-none. I had access to amazing teachers from top tech firms and was simply blown away by their intelligence and passion for helping students. The curriculum is very good and the projects let you apply everything you learn as you go. There's some theory, but the perfect balance.The last thing is how awesomely flexible everything is. You have a community of people you are joining at BrainStation when you enrol, but somehow the school has created so many opportunities for learning that it can really fit into your life.
Upgrading your career is not that easy, but urging yourself to push to the top is one thing you must tell yourself. Sitting for hours to complete assignments and attend lectures offered me a valuable lesson in time management. You may have to get up early at times to read your slides, as well as plan your day around your studies. One thing I've learned is that once you make up your mind to accomplish anything, you have to follow through on it. After all, getting into my school was not a cause of worry for me; rather, it provided me with the opportunity to learn from instructors, which fueled my drive to run my own business. I will always agree with the wise man who said, "Education is the key to success."
I have taken the cybersecurity course that brainstation has to offer because it was recommended by a friend, The sales consultants said you should find a job after taking this course, no problem (as they always do). Now after a year of applying, I could not find a job in the cybersecurity sector. The course cost me around $3297 because I chose the 12 month payment plan. This was a 5 week course, each week has one 8 hour class and cover 1 modules per day, total 5 modules in the remainder of the course. The instructor was very enthusiastic when teaching, and explained certain topics very well, but the over all course does not teach you any technical aspects of the topics they are covering. The only information they provide is the overall descriptions of the security systems. The course does not teach how to use specific security systems. (HOW DO YOU GET SOMEONE "JOB READY" IF YOU DON'T TEACH THEM TO USE THE SYSTEMS THEY ARE GOING TO WORK WITH IN THE FIRST PLACE?) Their claim to get you job ready is a lie. do not fall for their job ready BS at least when it comes to cybersecurity. $3297 for 5 classes is $659.4 per class, which you are paying someone just to listen to them gives you a summary of what cybersecurity is. Brainstation claims they get you job ready, instead when i have emailed a brainstation support for help with job search, they did not even reply back to me. I have learned more about cybersecurity from Google IT Professional certificate course than this pile of dumpster fire, and that course cost only $50 a month on coursera. If you want to get into cyber security and have no experience, go watch some youtube videos on it and get the Google IT Professional certificate, A+ certificate, Security+ certificate, way better investment than this trash. I have not had one employer who though the brainstation cybersecurity certificate was an asset.
This course was the best of both worlds for a new Canadian with an engineering background from Brazil. It wasn't too expensive and it let me learn at my own pace. The best part was I still could log into a face-to-face classroom for conversations with my teacher and even more time with my classmates during the "conversation clubs" . Humber College helped me find the right level to start at, then helped me improve my English for business and everyday speaking in ways I didn't think were possible for me.
-Very friendly to career switcher as it starts from the ground (basic SQL,Python, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).-Then it builds up more in depth with different case studies from different industries, where you get to combine different tools mentioned above to complete the whole cycle of data manipulation.-Very informative resume building and interview practicing sessions.-In the end you will get the whole picture of being a DA or BI, with a handful of projects that can be presented as portfolio, and a polished resume.-I landed a job 3 months after completing the bootcamp.
Toronto School of Management is Very accessible and located in a very best location. They provide suitable environment for studying along with well trained and friendly staff along with professional instructors. They provide career based programs in digital and Business Marketing.
Seneca is one of the best options for students looking for an accredited diploma program. I myself am studying animation, and cannot picture myself picking another school. The instructors are clear and willing to offer assistance, and may have worked on some recognizable titles, it’s always great to listen to their stories before or after class.Located in Toronto, the campus is easily accessible with tons to do in between classes, or places to go after hours with classmates or the cool profs.The animation program is actually one of the hardest to get into in Canada, but that leads to some of the biggest animation studios in the world looking to Seneca for potential employees when it’s time to graduate. Calling the program anything short of Oscar worthy isn’t enough, it deserves Best Picture.
I had experience in business analytics and some experience in data science but I wanted to gain more technical knowledge and skills to work more on a backend role. I decided to study Data Engineering and I was lucky that not many places offer this field of study. I enrolled and job offers kept piling in my inbox, even before finishing the program.I loved the tools and the projects I worked on with WCD. I worked in my first and second role as a data engineer with WCD help.Their programs are tailored to meet employers needs and definitely made my resume competitive over others with years of experience.
I am student of Niagara college studying post graduation in HR management. I would really like to mention about the top class faculty and resources my college is having. Every day i am learning new things and getting new opportunities to explore. It does have a very cooperative student's advising team and placement team which comes up with lot of market exposure to international students. Also, cherry on the cake is co-op work permit where we get an opportunity to work in real time work environment during our course only.Its the best decision to choose niagara college.
As someone currently enrolled in the event management program at Northern’s Pures, I can confidently say that the school is exceptional for international students.The professors are all friendly and informative, the study environment is comfortable and spacious.Norther’s Scarborough campus is not the most spacious in the world, but the Timmins campus is fairly large. Even though we’ve been virtual for the last while, I cannot wait to get back to campus and get back to all the great facilities they have.
I really love how the professors teach and explain every bit of the course. They are very cooperative and understanding. The entire staff of NIAGARA COLLEGE is quite helpful. I am a student at NCT. I made absolutely good choice choosing this college and definately would Recommend everyone to opt for a course here.
Toronto Film School gave me so many opportunities to challenge myself, both as an actor and a person. Obviously, you have to be proactive and create some of these opportunities for yourself. Being able to audition for the short films made by the students of the Film Production and Writing programs allowed me to build a solid network of film creatives. I'm grateful for that. My teachers were knowledgeable, attentive, supportive and most of them are also working as actors, producers, filmmakers, etc. I was even hired or recommended by some of them on their various projects. Yes, tuition is expensive, but I personally got a lot out of it. It definitely gave me the confidence I needed to tackle this demanding industry.
There isn't a better EMBA for $30k in Canada, maybe the world. I finished my EMBA in 2021 and immediately qualified for higher level positions within my company. I also learned so much, and met such incredible professionals, that I've never been more confident at my job. I went into the program earning $100k+ as a senior manager. UFred was initially my way of jumping through the hoops required to get into the C-suite, but it turned out to be this rich, rewarding, challenging and in some ways surprising educational experience of a lifetime. If you're anything like me, I would highly recommend it.

I learned about WIST (Women in the Skilled Trades) Electrical Technician program through a high school career fair in 2018, "Jill of All Trades." There must have been 100 women there to introduce girls like me to the skilled trades. I was always interested in engineering, but I loved to take things apart and study them, which is why working as an electrical technician made so much sense. I didn't realize it then, but that day is when I decided to be an electrician. I couldn't have done it without the WIST program and Conestoga. I hope more girls and women will consider taking the leap.
I have completed my second semester, so about 8 months, at North Campus in business. It's a BIG campus with a great vibe, food options and classrooms and facilities.The professors are pretty good. Out of 12 courses, 11 professors were outstanding and one was just okay. They are respectful and make sure you understand the materials. My Principles of Management prof is a favourite. He would teach for 30 minutes then do in-class exercises and simulations designed to teach us how to run different companies and compete against classmates. It was amazing. You learn by doing and he would walk around to help us communicate within teams and manage time and learn how a business works from the inside out.Student support is also outstanding. Blackboard is used to get assignments and grades, and to communicate with profs. It's not the best, but IT support is available in minutes if you need help. I know plenty of students who use academic services like the writing centre and counselling too who say only the best things.Last but not least is campus life. It is really good. People at least in business work hard but also have fun. It's a multicultural campus with people from India, Canada, China, Brazil, London, you name it. This has added so much to the experience and I'm proud to study here.
Great program. Andrea Tavchar was my prof and she was amazing - a practitioner who also had a PhD in the field. That's the great thing about Humber, you get a strong academic background (theory) with loads of practice, practice, practice. Employers around the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) also know Humber very well.
This was a great online course for an ECE working during the day. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, but kids have struggled due to social isolation. Learning more about mental health issues facing my kids has made me a much better educator and allowed me to create thoughtful new programming at my childhood centre in Toronto.
This was quick and effective online learning that allowed me to fly through the Professional Management Professional (PMP). The course follows the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) but seemed to understand exactly where I needed the most help and emphasis on important concepts. (I'm guessing this was the hardest stuff for everyone?) But I also picked up useful project management concepts, tools and skills along the way. I have no idea how I survived in construction before without knowing Gant charts! Best thing is, I did it all while working full time.
Humber College is a great college and the Writing Centre is world class. I spent a lot of time there polishing my papers in first year! They take care of their students, whether it's through great insurance coverage, free tutors in first year or counselling and career services. Inspiring place to be, get connected to Toronto's business community and meet great friends for life.
In about 8 months, WIST (carpentry) gave me the skills I needed to apprentice with a great construction firm. AND IT WAS FREE! Everything from essential skills to health and safety to how to get into the industry are covered. This includes job search help, communication skills, getting to know computer programs used in construction and just work on building your confidence as a woman in a male-dominated industry. My instructors were amazing and passionate about this program and getting more women into the skilled trades. WIST gets a 100% grade from me, hands down. More women should know about this option.
I got my red seal as an electrician and wouldn't be here without Conestoga and the teachers who supported me. The ATS building is great but the school is about to launch a brand new facility that's state-of-the-art.For people looking for an apprenticeship, it isn't obvious what to do. Start with a company or union for 3-6 months and then sign up with the ministry for certification. Conestoga can guide you.There are so many jobs in the skilled trades it's unbelievable. I would recommend this route to anyone who's interested.
