This school is such a joke..they don't even deserve a one star. The instructors don't know how to teach and each one teaches us different things..when it should be consistent. I got a zero for getting different instruction from one instructor and then being told another thing and getting penalized for it. Also, the tuition should NOT be this ridiculously high..18k for getting treated like trash by the professors. They expected us to know how to take xrays on the first day and then makes us feel bad for not knowing when it's literally the first time ever practicing..It's so unnecessary for screaming at the students..i'm just disgusted by the behaviour of the staff in this program..

Great program. I applied 4 years after graduating from a graphic design program. Application process was straightforward and asked for short video answering what my favourite movie was and why but I think they recently added a video submission, so get your reel together. Since graduating I've worked on sets in Toronto and done freelance ad content for a few different agencies.

I took the IA course as a continuing education course; it could have been so much better. We had to submit group work, group work is rarely very rewarding or "fun." The course was not very well structured. We submitted homework every week for the duration of 6 weeks, no one received a grade or a review on the homework submitted...ever. The final homework assignment was submitted and once again, zero feedback regarding grading or comments on how anyone taking this course could improve? The instructor, Darren was MIA when you emailed him for information, no response to emails. No feedback on our final assignment. Everyone in the group received the same mark regardless of the individual's participation. I would not recommend this course.

I would not recommend taking COMP9673 (Information Architecture) with Aaron Bernardo. He is disorganized and inarticulate, and he does not provide feedback to students or return assignments to them. If you take a course with him, you will have no idea how you are doing in the course until after it is over. I am not convinced that he even looks at what's submitted... he seems too disorganized for that. There are some good instructors in George Brown's UX program, but Aaron is not one of them.

I've been taking George Brown's SEO and Paid Search course from their Continuing Education program in early 2019. Overall the course has been really good thus far - it's been nice to get a formalized overview of SEO and the main contributors to a site's rankings, both from the technical side and from a content perspective. The lecturer leads an SEO agency and is therefore both knowledgeable and passionate about the topic.The course won't make me a complete expert in content marketing, SEO, and paid search, but it has helped strengthen my understanding of the topics and it enables me to have a more intelligent conversation of the role they can play within marketing for an organization. Lots of value for the amount charged for this course.
